Ever admired elegant witches and wizard robes and wanted a pair? Yearned to update your drab school robes? Thought about making your loved ones a handmade gift that they could treasure through the ages?
You are in luck!! Head Seamstress Staci Bell has created a class for first years all the way to advanced stitch witches — just in time to teach you how to sew your very own robes! Use the pattern she brings or get guidance in using your own pattern and lets make some magic!
The goal is that by the end of class you will have your very own wizard robes that you’ve created yourself. There are only 15 spots available so I can give as much attention as needed to each student! If I run out of spots and you are still interested, email me at stitchandscissor@gmail.com to let me know so I can schedule another class ;-)
What you will need: - a sewing machine WITH the pedal (don't forget this, it's important!) - fabric for your robes (I will have two patterns to choose from - one with a more flared bottom and one that takes less fabric so I will let you know the yardage when you choose which you want) - patches, appliqués, other embellishments - a robes/cloak clasp (unless you want to just tie it) - a basic sewing kit (hand needles, extra machine needles, fabric scissors, pins, a fabric pencil, matching thread, and ENTHUSIASM)
11 year olds and up only please, anyone under 14 needs to be accompanied by a parent.
More details will be given upon purchase of the class! Get your sewing charms ready!
